  • From poster to pitch - our girls' football team makes it happen

    A few months ago, a group of our learners decided they wanted a girls' football team at Brierley. They took matters into their own hands - making a poster and spreading the word.

    That idea turned into something real last week, when seven of our girls took part in a tournament at Fives Football in Seacroft.

    It was a brilliant day, and the team should be incredibly proud - not just of how they played, but of the fact that they made this happen themselves. From an idea on a poster to a proper football tournament is no small thing.
