Summer Fair 2026

Stalls, face painting, and a whole lot of community spirit!
On Thursday 18th June, Co-op Academy Brierley hosted its summer fair, and the school was buzzing from the moment families arrived.
Our learners had put real effort into designing and making things to sell on their stalls, and on the day they did themselves proud. They talked to visitors, handled transactions, and showed creativity and confidence throughout - exactly the kind of skills that stay with them long after the fair is over.
Alongside the learner stalls, there was plenty more to enjoy. Community stalls, homemade bakes, delicious pakoras, a book stall, henna art, face painting, a bouncy castle, and of course the ever-popular chance to splat the teacher. It made for a fair that had something for everyone, and a real sense that the whole community had come together to be part of it.
Days like this are what make Brierley special. Thank you to every family who came along, every volunteer who helped out, and everyone who made the day what it was. We were proud of our learners, and proud of our community.
