Pathway Overview
At Brierley, we organise our curriculum into four pathways. Each pathway is designed around a different set of learning needs — so that every child gets teaching that's genuinely right for them, rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
Every child who joins us in Reception - Year 2 starts in our Foundation Pathway, where we take time to get to know them properly. For children joining us in older year groups, we think carefully about which pathway best fits their needs before they start — and we always have that conversation with families first.
A child's pathway is reviewed as part of their ongoing progress conversations. If we ever feel a change would better support their development, we'll always talk to you about it first
Our Four Pathways
